Tough, portable, general purpose recorders for laboratory, mobile and benign environment airborne acquisition of analog, digital and bus data in the general industrial, scientific and research environments, including automotive, aerospace, medical, utility and transport applications. Systems include modular built-in signal interfaces for up to 144 channels to provide single box solutions for a wide variety of applications and flexibility to handle changing test requirements.
With an analog bandwidth from 125 kHz up to 640 kHz, the Industrial & Automotive data acquisition systems are able to handle a wide variety of analog and digital signals. There are user-changeable signal modules for microphones, strain gages, charge amplifiers, voltages, ICP sensors, PCM data streams, RPM, AES/EBU digital audio and CAN-Bus available. The modules can be used in any combination and permit a tailored configuration for every application.
The systems are lightweight and portable with built-in carrying handles. Rack mounting is also available. The recorded data can be reconstructed in real-time via replay modules or transferred as files via the SCSI interface for further off-line digital analysis and display. The Industrial & Automotive models offer a wide choice with respect to bandwidth, signal source, channel capacity, and storage capacity requirements.

The DiSC6 digital data acquisition system combines the technical features of
the A480 with the small size of a mobile front-end. Its unique modular design
and outstanding precision in both mobile and stationary use are the DiSC6's major
features. The system can either be utilized as a pure front-end for on-line data
acquisition or, by integrating available hard disc or tape drive storage, as
an instrumentation data recorder. The number of module slots can be increased
by addition of an optional 6-slot extender box.
