FILE TRANSFER (FTrans) SOFTWARE
FTrans is a Windows based graphical user interface with fully intuitive operation conforming to familiar Windows functionality.
The remote control application is provided free with every recorder and
operates with the recorder's built-in SCSI, Ethernet,or Serial interface.
The application provides complete status monitoring, control, channel and
system configuration functions in comprehensive display windows. Signal display
as wave forms and bar graphs is also provided together with real time measurements
of signal parameters.
The remote control software is the core for the optional data transfer application. FTrans Data Transfer application takes data from all of the media types used by our recorders, via the recorder's SCSI or Ethernet interface to a computer and converts the data to an operator-selected file format. An extensive range of common data formats are supported, including ASCII, Binary, .wav, .sdf, nCode, MatLab, FAMOS and DADiSP. Unique, customer specific formats can also be accommodated.
For users intending to integrate control, configuration and data transfer functions for our recorders into their own custom applications, we will supply library source code to significantly reduce the work required, free of charge.
Analysis & Display Software
W SERIES
Many ground replay applications require only the transfer or
copy of recorded data in digital form and there is no
requirement to reproduce the signals in real time. The ideal
and most economical solution is the W Series which features
a media drive coupled to a high speed SCSI interface in a
convenient desk top or rack mounting housing.
For media contained in cartridges (recorded in the D20f/D200f
and D5000/D6000 Series mainframes) W Series models are
available with single or dual plug-in cartridge receivers.
These can provide convenient download and dubbing to similar or different media
for distribution and archive.

ANALYSIS & DISPLAY SOFTWARE
All of Heim data acquisition systems are capable of providing files in a wide variety of formats so that they can be imported directly into the user's preferred display and analysis applications.
Heim works closely with several major software vendors to integrate the drivers and controls for Heim recorders into their products, providing a seamless data acquisition through to report process.
